All sorts of cylinder heads can be machined at Sapaic; from small motorbike heads up to large marine engine cylinder heads. Design of such cylinder heads can be 1 head per cylinder (mostly in marine design) up to slab heads (up to 6-8 cylinder heads): Configuration of SOHC as well as DOHC. Material is mostly aluminium for car engine cylinder heads and cylinder blocks as well. Various grades of cast iron cylinder head are mostly used in truck and tractor design as well as in marine engines. Compact Graphite CGI tends to become predominant with the latest designs. Daily output ranges from one per day (marine heads) up to several hundreds (500) per day for car or truck engine heads being offered in contracts over several years.
